Scholarships are a great way to pay for college. If you start applying for scholarships early enough you may be able to get your entire college education paid for without ever having to take out a loan. Students can start applying for scholarships as early as their Freshman year in high school.
Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions Scholarship Contest The Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions will award a $1,000 scholarship to three graduating high school seniors who are active members of participating credit unions.
Entry forms are typically accepted from November through the middle of February each year. Watch for the 2011 Entry Form coming this November!
Youth Scholarship Award Community First Credit Union sponsors the Youth Scholarship award at Celebrating Our Volunteers, an annual awards gala held in spring of each year. The Youth Scholarship Award is presented to a high school student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in promoting volunteerism in the community. Nomination information will be posted here when the nomination process opens for next year.
Fox Valley Technical College Community First Credit Union sponsors two scholarships through the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation. A $500 scholarship is awarded for the spring and fall semester each year.

They will both require that you answer several questions in regards to the activities, clubs and organizations that you are involved in or that you like. This way they can match you with the scholarships for which you are most likely to qualify. Your scholarship lists will be updated on a regular basis. The site will also tell you what is needed to qualify for scholarships and will provide you with the application deadline dates.
