Mortgage Servicing Specialist

Functions:
Community First Credit Union is searching for a qualified Mortgage Servicing Specialist to join its Mortgage Processing Team, reporting to the VP of Mortage Lending. Key responsibilities of this position include: answer questions and requests regarding mortgage loan accounts, ensure all documents and policies comply with federal and state laws and regulations, obtain loan payoffs, schedule loan closings, process monthly PMI disbursements from required escrow accounts to PMI companies, disburse loan on in-house system upon receipt of package from the title company, submit closed package to secondary market investor for purchase, assist with annual escrow and 1099/1098 analysis, and duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience, plus two to three years’ experience in Mortgage Loan Origination. Candidates should also possess the ability to read, analyze, interpret and prepare relevant documents, reports, etc. Excellent communication and organization skills, as well as attention to detail are essential. Additionally, candidates should be proficient with PC applications and have knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations. Duties require the ability to stand; walk; use hands to write and use various pieces of office equipment; reach with hands and arms and lift/move up to 10 pounds.
