Member Lending SpecialistOneidaHours: Full-time
Functions: Member Lending Specialists are responsible for providing outstanding service to members and prospective members over the phone, while conducting lending interviews, evaluating loan requests, and communicating decisions of those loans. Some of the responsibilities of this role include: uncovering financial needs and providing appropriate solutions utilizing CFCU products and services; utilizing a consultative approach in loan interviews to establish a lending plan; performing debt ratio/collateral analysis; obtaining loan approval, closing the loan and completing the member file, and customizing protection plans for various lending products.
Requirements: This position requires an individual who can balance a sales and service mentality over the phone with the ability to listen effectively, ask personal questions to uncover needs, and recognize opportunities to refer members to other CFCU business partners. Member Lending Specialists work in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking and accuracy are essential to success. An Associate’s Degree and two-year track record of sales success, or combination of education and experience is required; previous lending experience is preferred.
