Greater Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions Scholarships

Graduating high school seniors who are active members of a local credit union have a chance to win one of three $1,000 scholarships awarded by the Greater Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions.

An application form and rules about the 2018 scholarships can be found by clicking on the 2018 FCCCU Scholarship form-rules in the documents column on the right. The application deadline is Feb. 5 and the scholarships will be presented at a March 19 banquet.

Celebrating Volunteers Youth Scholarship

Community First is once again sponsoring the Youth Scholarship Award at the 2018 Celebrating Volunteers community gala scheduled for April 26 at the Radisson Paper ValleyHotel in Appleton. The award recognizes a high school student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in promoting volunteerism in the community.

The recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship upon graduation from high school and $1,000 they can give to a local charity. Consider nominating a high school senior by the Feb. 5 deadline.

The 2017 recipient was Menasha resident Kaylie Bittner, a St. Mary's Central HS graduate, who chose to donate the $1,000 to the Neenah-Menasha Emergency Society.
