APPLETON, WI – Attendees of Community First Credit Union’s Home Buying seminar: How to Get a Mortgage in Today’s Changing Market, to be held Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9-11 a.m. at 2626 S. Oneida St. in Appleton, Wis., will learn home buying tips to make wise financial choices.

Industry experts will discuss important topics including understanding the pre-approval and mortgage process, choosing the right mortgage, understanding your credit score and budgeting tips to help consumers get ready to buy the right house.

“With so many recent changes in lending, credit and the housing market, it can be difficult for a buyer to understand the process of home buying. Whether you’re a first time home buyer or a repeat homebuyer looking for more information, this seminar is a great opportunity to become better educated about the financial facts of home buying to prepare yourself for successful home-ownership,” said Tim Sciborski, Community First’s SVP/Lending.

This seminar is free to anyone interested in attending, however registration is required. To register simply go online to www.communityfirstcu.com or call (920) 830-7200 or 1-866-273-2328. All attendees will receive a coupon for $500 off closing costs from Community First.
