Community First Credit Union Celebrates DePere Branch Grand Opening

APPLETON, Wis. – Community and business leaders joined to celebrate the Community First Credit Union Grand Opening in De Pere on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce’s De Pere at Dusk.  

Catherine Tierney, Community First Credit Union President/CEO and Mary Kay Capelle, Community First Credit Union De Pere Branch Manager, presided over the ceremony attended by employees, board members, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce members, De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce members, and community leaders including the De Pere Mayor Michael Walsh. During the ceremony Community First presented the Kress Family Library with a $1,000 check to purchase financial literacy books for the library. 
 
The new branch is located at the corner of Scheuring Road and Lawrence Drive, and features a full service drive-up including a fee-free ATM, as well as complete lobby and member services inside. As the first Community First location in De Pere, the new building brings additional financial convenience and choices to the De Pere and Green Bay area. 
 
Community First Credit Union has over 360 employees and serves over 82,000 members-owners with 16 branches located throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Waupaca, Brown, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Oconto, Shawano, Sheboygan and Waushara counties. The credit union has assets totaling more than $1 billion.
