APPLETON, Wis. – Community First Credit Union join forces with the Red Cross Chapters for the Great American Ball Drop to be held at Ridgeway Golf Club in Neenah on Monday, June 28, 2010.
Great American Ball Drop golf ball numbers can be purchased at any Community First Credit Union branch for a donation of $20 per golf ball to be entered into the ball drop. Each golf ball dropped will be assigned a number. Contestants do not need to be present to win.
Dropping of Golf Balls will take place between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. A maximum of 2,000 consecutively numbered golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter hovering over a set area at Ridgeway Golf Club. The winner with the corresponding number of the golf ball that lands in the hole will win $1,000. Additional prizes will be awarded for closest to the hole.
All proceeds from this event benefit the programs and services of the American Red Cross Chapters in Oshkosh, Neenah-Menasha, Green Bay and Outagamie County.
