The Assistant Head Teller position reports to the Branch Manager and plays a key role by combining member service talents and cash handling skills to assist members in our fast-paced environment. As an Assistant Head Teller, you will be part of a team that truly makes a difference for our members. Tellers provide professional, friendly and helpful assistance to members through face to face financial transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Cash checks for members.
- Accept loan and credit card payments.
- Disburse cashier’s checks, money orders, travelers checks, and gift cards.
- Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day.
- Promote, cross sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs.
- Balance TYME machine, general ledgers, and vault daily.
- Perform periodic cash counts of teller drawer and vault.
- Provide guidance and training to Tellers on operating procedures, monitor regulatory and compliance changes.

Applicants must have well-developed communication skills and a thorough knowledge of teller duties and responsibilities. Prior supervisory experience is preferred as well as strong analytical/problem solving skills, strong leadership and motivational skills along with the ability to perform well in a team environment.
