Your payments are deferred as long as you are taking 50% of a full course load. They also can be deferred for up to 6 months after you leave school*


*Max. term of deferred loan up to 66 months.

Our student loans are available for Community First member-owners enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program as long as you are taking 50% of a full course load at an approved school.

  • If borrowing with a co-signer the student can have any account relationship, but the co-signer will need to be a member-owner with a checking account and full direct deposit

  • If student qualifies to apply independently, must have checking account and full direct deposit

If you are the spouse of a student or the spouse of a co-signer applying for a student loan with Community First, living in the State of Wisconsin, this Promissory Note Addendum is required to continue processing the student loan request.
