Keep your business running with the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

There is still time for your business to apply for a SBA PPP loan, providing supplemental cash for payroll and operating expenses. The loan requires that a minimum of 60% be used for payroll, and allows 40% to be applied toward these business expenses: mortgage interest, rent or lease expenses or utility payments.

Eligible businesses:

  • Have less than 500 employees
  • ​Were in operation as of 2/15/2020

Is structured as a Corporation, LLC, Sole Proprietorship, Non-Profit or Church.   


Application Deadline:

  • August 8, 2020 (or when funds allocation is exhausted.)
 
Eligible Uses of Funds:
A minimum of 60% of the loan amount must be used for payroll after allocating a minimum of 60% of the loan to payroll, up to 40% of the loan amount can be used for:
  • Business Mortgage Interest Payments
  • Business Rent or Lease Payments
  • Business Utility Payments
Maximum Loan Amount:
  • 2.5X Average Monthly Payroll
  • Compensation in excess of $100,000 for individual employees not eligible
Loan Term:
  • 5 Years

  • 1.0% APR

Deferred Payments:
Loan payments are deferred for 10 months. At the end of the 10 month period after closing the loan, if the borrower has not applied for debt forgiveness, principal and interest payments will be due and payable the following month. If debt forgiveness is applied for in the 10 month period, payments will continue to be deferred until debt forgiveness has been reviewed and approved by the SBA.

Prepare Your Application & Documentation

Download the SBA Paycheck Protection Program Application and gather required documentation. 
To avoid delays, all applications must be complete prior to submission, including signatures and initials to questions 5 & 6. Missing or incorrect information could hinder your ability to receive funds.

 

Gather Required Documentation

  • Payroll Tax Reports - Federal Forms 940 or 941 filed with the IRS for 2019 and 2020 Q1 (if applicable). State income and unemployment tax filing reports. [ OR ] Payroll Reports - For each pay period in the 12 months preceding the origination of the SBA Loan. Reports should include gross wages including PTO (vacation, sick and other PTO).

  • Sole Proprietors and Independent Contractors: 2019 Business Tax Return or Schedule C from your 2019 personal tax return. If your taxes are not yet complete, please complete this form. Also, proof of business on or around February 15, 2020 (check stubs, utility bills, QuickBook reports).


Optional Documentation

  • Health Insurance Premium Documentation - Monthly invoices reflecting premiums paid by the company under a group health plan, including owners, for the 12 months preceding the SBA Loan origination.

  • Retirement Plan Funding Documentation - Copies of workpapers, schedules and remittances to the retirement plan administrator showing employer funding for the 12 months preceding the SBA Loan origination.

Requesting PPP Loan Forgiveness

Up to 100% of loan proceeds used for payroll and up to 40% of loan proceeds used for qualified business expenses may be forgiven.  The SBA is making final determinations and has not yet begun accepting applications for PPP Loan Forgiveness.
