Enjoying Retirement Despite the Costs


Older couple in blue aprons painting and enjoying retirement.In a 2024 survey, about half of retirees said that retirement costs were higher than they expected, but a large majority were enjoying the lifestyle they imagined (at least to some degree) and spending what they wanted within reason. Less than a third were holding back on spending to leave an inheritance.
