Orange barrel season has come to Oneida Street in Appleton. Here's what you need to know.

Both the City of Appleton and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be making road improvements in front of and around the Oneida Street location beginning Monday, March 20th and continuing through late summer. While there will be some inconveniences, the results will be worth it.  Until they are complete, here are some important things you need to know:

Look for these changes beginning Monday, March 20th:
  • The intersection of Oneida Street and Calumet Street will be closed to through traffic.  Detours will be marked to divert traffic around the intersection.  If that intersection is part of your travels to our Oneida Street location, please follow the detours or plan a different path.
  • Traffic heading north on Oneida Street from HWY 441, will be shifted to the west lane with a lane heading north and a lane heading south.  The right lanes that normally carry northbound traffic will be closed, however our driveway off of Oneida Street will be accessible through openings in the barrels.
  • Local access to businesses will be available throughout the construction.

Visiting the Oneida Street Branch:
We have three entrances to the parking lot for our Oneida Street location off of:
  • Oneida Street. The main driveway off of Oneida Street will be available through the majority of the construction with a few exceptions.
  • Hoover Street.  Just east of the intersection of Hoover Street and Oneida Street.
  • Roeland Avenue.  There are two entrances off of Roeland Avenue, just east of the Oneida Street intersection.  One is of our drive-thru, the other for our lobby parking.

Nearby Community First Locations:
Please remember that you can also visit any Community First location.  During construction, you may find these nearby full-service locations convenient (click each for a map):

Stay Up To Date:
We are working closely with the City of Appleton and the DOT to stay informed as the construction progresses and additional changes happen so that we can share them with you.  You can follow the changes too by using this interactive map:
