Teller (PT) - Richmond

Hours: Part-time

Community First Credit Union is seeking talented people with a passion for customer service to join our branch teams!  Here’s a little information about us:
Community First Credit Union is a financial cooperative of people helping people – we are member-owned, and live our name by putting our members, employees, and the community first.  We are one of Wisconsin’s largest credit unions, with over $2.7 billion in assets and 129,000+ member-owners.  We have won the annual  Post-Crescent Best of the Valley Award for Best Credit Union since 2008, and added Best Mortgage Lender to that distinction in 2012.  We offer a professional environment; daytime hours (no Sundays!); great benefits - including a pension- to full time and part time employees, including paid holidays, paid time off, retirement benefits, and a work apparel allowance; and unparalleled opportunities to get involved in the community and make a difference in people’s lives.

We’re excited about who we are and what we do.  On top of all of that, we are a financially stable, growing organization – looking for the right people to share our vision on a long-term basis.  We currently have part time and full time Teller openings in the Appleton area.  If you love customer service but not the late nights and long weekends of retail, we’d like to hear from you!  As a Teller with Community First Credit Union you will:

  • Cash checks for members.
  • Accept loan and credit card payments.
  • Disburse cashier’s checks, money orders, travelers checks, and gift cards.
  • Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day.
  • Promote, cross sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs.

The Teller position reports to the Branch Manager and plays a key role by combining member service talents and cash handling skills to assist members in our fast-paced environment.  As a Teller, you will be part of a team that truly makes a difference for our members. Tellers provide professional, friendly and helpful assistance to members through face to face financial transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.

A high school degree with a minimum of 6 months of cash handling experience is required.  Candidates should possess excellent listening ability and effective communication skills.  Teller experience is preferred.

Create a career you can be proud of and share our dedication to be a strong partner within the communities we serve!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team where everybody counts, everybody cares and everybody delivers—everyday!
