Community First Credit Union is once again collaborating with 4 other local credit unions to help members dispose of sensitive paperwork and household items by hosting shredding and electronics recycling events across Northeastern Wisconsin.

This event is open to member-owners only.

NOTE: We are ending one hour earlier than usual for this annual event, due to scheduling issues at the stadium! 

Free secure document shredding – limit 5 grocery-sized bags.

Household & electronics recycling – many items accepted for free or a small fee for others.

Please remove batteries and bulbs from electronics prior to recycling.
 
Most small electronics are free to recycle include:
cell phones, Christmas lights, computer towers, cords/wire, desktop printers, DVD players, eReaders, laptops, keyboards/mice, modems, MP3 players, power supplies, projectors, routers, satellite boxes, speakers, stereos, tablets, telephones, VCRs, video gaming controllers, video gaming systems

We unfortunately do not accept smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, thermostats, or thermometers.
  
Electronics with Recycling Charges: 
We accept cash, debit card, credit card, or check. Checks can be made out to 'Recycle That Stuff'.

Flat and tube computer monitors: $20 each
Flat and tube TVs (29" and under): $20 each
Flat and tube TVs (30"-49"): $40 each
Flat and tube TVs (50" and over): $60 each
Wood console or projection TVs (any size): $60 each
Large copy machines: $15 each
Microwaves: $15 each
Dehumidifiers: $20 each
Window air conditioners*: $20 each
Ovens: $25 each
Dishwashers: $25 each
Clothes washers: $25 each
Clothes dryers: $25 each
Dorm-size refrigerators*: $20 each

*We unfortunately do not take full-size refrigerators, full-size freezers, nor central air conditioning units.

Batteries and light bulbs will not be accepted at events.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: We ask that you to stay in your car when delivering your items. Our volunteers will take care of transferring items for you. Also, for the benefit of everyone, we ask you refrain attending if you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick.
