Texting Scam Targets Members
Several members have reported receiving a text message asking them to verify a transaction on their account and may include a phone call asking for confidential card information including the 3 digit CVV code on the back of your card, PIN, expiration and or card number. These texts are not originating from CFCU or any of our partners. We will NEVER ask for your CVV, PIN, expiration and/or card numbers. For your safety, do not respond to texts or calls you cannot verify are from CFCU or are asking for additional card information. When in doubt, hang up and call a number you know to be affiliated with Community First.
