Transferring Money to Members
Digital member-to-member transfers are a fast, safe and easy way to send and receive money with family, friends, maybe even your hairdresser!
With over 150,000 Community First member-owners, our robust cooperative offers a lot of opportunities to securely transfer money. With our
Digital Banking
member-to-member transfers there’s no need to download anything new to start sending money – it's available right from your mobile app or desktop.
Sending Money to Members
When adding a new member account you’ll be asked to enter their:
• Business or Last Name
• Account Number
• Select if their account is Checking or Savings
Plus, you can even name what the funds are for.
Receiving Money from Members
Funds will be deposited into the account provided by the sender.
Transferring Money to Non-Members
PayPal
Visit the
PayPal website
or download the app to your phone.
Click ‘Sign Up’.
Create an account and you’re ready to go.
Already have an account?
Log in to your account and select ‘Wallet’
Click “Link a card or bank,” then enter either:
your Community First account # OR
your Community First Debit or Credit Card #
Verifying your billing address and you’re done.
Venmo
Download the Venmo
app to your phone
Create an account
Under Payment Methods, add
Your Community First account # OR
Your Community First Debit or Credit Card #
Search in Venmo for the user you want to pay.
Venmo charges a 3% fee for using Credit. There is no service fee for Debit.
Google Pay
Download the Google Pay
app to your phone
Open the app and follow the setup instructions on your screen
Already have an account?
Open Google Pay
Select card option in the upper right corner of your screen
Choose Add Card at the bottom of your screen
Follow the prompts on your screen to add your card
Cash App
Download the app
to your phone or visit the Cash App website
Open the app, enter your transfer amount and follow the instructions
Already have an account?
Log in to your account and click Linked Accounts
Enter your Community First account # OR Debit or Credit Card #
Apple Cash
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
Scroll down to select Wallet & Apple Pay
Turn Apple Cash on
Under Payment Cards, tap Apple Cash then Continue
Then follow the prompts on your screen
Only for Apple iOS devices
Apple Pay
Tap the Add button in the Wallet app
Tap Debit or Credit Card and then Continue
Then follow the prompts on your screen to add your card
Only for Apple iOS devices
Zelle
Download the Zelle app to your phone.
Enter your basic contact information
Then select Find your Bank
To ensure you find the right Community First Credit Union, use the “Don’t see your bank?” option instead of search
